This is how I installed skype on my Kubuntu 13.10 system –
- Open bash/Konsole
- Run: sudo add-apt-repository “deb http://archive.canonical.com/ $(lsb_release -sc) partner”
- Run: sudo apt-get update
- Run: sudo apt-get install skype
